We have secured such a great deal with the billboard companies that it allows us to make digital billboards more accessible to the small business owners and organizations who may need to advertise events or products.
Technical Information
Digital billboards work similarly to a screensaver on your phone or computer or like a video jukebox of sorts. Images are loaded into a server and launched onto the designated boards for the account. Like a juke box, where you get more songs/videos when you spend more. You will get more displays on your campaign with the more you spend.
The average large digital billboard measures 48 to 50 ft. wide and 15 ft. high. The images are displayed on the board for an average of 10-12 seconds. There are some restrictions* as to what can be put on a billboard.
Less is more... In essence, drivers on the highway can't stop and absorb a lengthy message while safely operating a vehicle. So give them something they can remember easily and use bright, eye-catching colors in your ads as much as possible.
